Politics… in brief

It was a busy week for political change and upheaval.  Congress ok'd a 1.3 Trillion (yes, trillion, not tribbles) dollar budget that incensed many conservatives, such as Rand Paul, who commented on Fox New's "Tucker Carlson":

"This is why people are so upset with politics, because when the Republicans are out of power, when they're in the minority, they are the conservative party. But then when they get in the majority, there is no conservative party." #Tucker

President Trump announced that John Bolton, former UN Ambassador and policy commentator for Fox News, will be replacing H.R. McMaster in his position as National Security Advisor.  As reported by the Associated Press,  in a tweet, Trump commented that McMaster had done "an outstanding job & will always remain my friend."  He said Bolton will take over April 9 as his third national security adviser in just over a year.
